Semi-permantent Tenarra

Semi-Permanent is a design event that occurs annually. It is a sophisticated blend of conferences, exhibitions, competitions, workshops and parties. Its purpose is simply to celebrate everything design – from Graphic Design, Film, Art, Illustration, Web Design, Photography and Visual Effects through to Animation, Graffiti, Motion Graphics, Stop Motion; whilst encouraging a

new generation of

designers to come forth.

Semi-permanent brings together exceptionally talented designers and artists whom speak at the event. Local and international experts are learnt through and ideas and experiences are shared. People are encouraged to explore each other’s diversity and excitement in order to create a more inspired and aware breed of design.

This kind of collaboration has occurred through Semi-Permanent during the past 8 years in over 26 events in 9 cities, covering 5 countries, with 164 speakers and over 42,000 attendees.
As the words from founder and worldwide director of Semi-permanent, Simon Velvin, defines Semi-Permanent -“It’s a raw, edgy conference, People share their work, their lives, their passions, what pisses them off”. The whole experience of this event is passion and it is set to ignite passion in all of those who attend it in its nineth year.
